What does my mobile insurance cover and how does it work?
  • Basic Modality: covers the breakage of the screen of the terminal included in the policy.
  • All Risks modality: covers any accidental damage suffered by the insured terminal, damage caused by any liquid to the terminal, theft and robbery of the insured terminal.
  • In the case of accidental damage, we will repair it. In the event of theft or robbery, we will give you a terminal that is the same or similar to the one you had.
What is not covered by mobile insurance?
  • The device's accessories.
  • Scratches and normal wear and tear.
  • Electrical or mechanical damage.
  • Costs that may be incurred due to loss of data or files on the device.
  • Damage, defects and vices already existing when the policy was taken out.
  • Any loss due to war, terrorism, participation in armed conflicts or nuclear risks.

What kind of equipment can I insure?
You can insure any phone or tablet, regardless of age or purchase amount, as long as you have a purchase invoice in your name, a sales contract or any document that proves when you bought the phone, how much it cost and that the phone is yours.
Can I insure a mobile phone given to me for free by my phone company through a points programme?

Yes, it can be insured. You must have the delivery note from your phone company, and we will insure your phone for the market value of the handset.

Can I insure an unlocked mobile phone?

Yes, you can insure both unlocked and subsidised mobiles, including a handset that may have been given to you by the company, as long as you have the delivery note.


Does the invoice have to be in my name? What if I don't have a purchase invoice?
Yes, the invoice or document proving ownership of the insurance must be in the name of the person taking out the insurance. If you don't have a purchase invoice, we can ensure a terminal as long as you have a delivery note, a contract of carriage, and a sale and purchase or in general any document that proves that you are the owner of the phone and the date you purchased the handset, identifying in this document the make, model and IMEI of the terminal.


What information do I need to contract?

All you have to do is provide us with your personal details (ID number, name and surname) and phone details (make, model, date, etc.).

Do I have to have my terminal appraised?
Yes, you must download our APP after taking out the mobile insurance and follow the appraisal instructions provided by the APP. 
How do I activate my cover?
The insurance cover will come into force as soon as we verify the proper condition of the insured equipment through the APP of Insurama (you will not be able to claim damage to your device until it has been verified that your device is working properly and shows no damage). prior to taking out mobile insurance).

The theft and robbery coverage will require the customer to have installed the APP from Insurama in the insured equipment, and with the geolocation function active in said devices. In the event of a claim, we must have geolocation coordinates sent from the insured device, via the APP, during the day of the occurrence of the claim, and at least 5 days prior to the date of the robbery or theft. 


What is the duration of my contract?
The insurance has a duration of 1 year, renewable for periods of 1 year unless the client informs us that he/she does not wish to renew the mobile insurance. 
What do I have to do if I have a screen breakage or theft/burglary claim?

Through our APP or by accessing the Customer Area of our website, using the username and password that we sent you in the welcome email, you must complete the form to declare the claim. In any case, you must provide us with the purchase invoice for the terminal.

If your screen is broken, you can choose whether you want to have your phone repaired in our network of repair shops, or whether you prefer us to collect your phone from your home or office so that we can repair it in our authorised repair centres. If your phone is stolen or misappropriated, the first thing you should do is to is to file a theft or robbery report at the police station in police. With such a report, you should request your company to to block the IMEI, so that no one can use your phone. Once you have completed these two steps, you will need to, via from our APP or from the Customer Area of our website, fill in the form to declare the claim, enclosing a copy of the invoice for purchase, a copy of the complaint and a copy of the blocking confirmation of the IMEI. In no more than 7 days we will send you a mobile phone with the same IMEI.  to the one you were insured for, unless your model is discontinued, in which case we will send you a model of similar performance and range.


Is there a limit to the number of claims?
We insure you up to a maximum of two claims to the yearone of damage (screen breakage, any material damage or damage water) and another for theft/burglary. 
How to report a claim?
If you have a claim you will be able to declare it in your Customer Areausing the username and password that we sent you in the welcome email, or via Our APP.

Once logged in, you will need to do the following:

  • Select the correct policy. If you have multiple insured devices, check which device is damaged and select the policy linked to that device.
  • Fill in a simple form.
  • Select the type of claim and provide documentation.
  • Necessarily authorise the payment of the rest of the annuity. If you have a monthly payment, once the documentation has been reviewed and validated, you will be charged for the rest of the annuity; and if you have already paid the entire annuity, you do not have to worry about anything.

Once the claim has been declared, you can follow it up via the APP or your Customer Area.


How can I make any changes or request a duplicate?
You will be able to manage your mobile insurance immediately and automatically from our APP or by accessing the Customer Area of our website, using the username and password we sent you in the welcome email.
